Description
Saturday 18 February, 10am - 1pm
Do you know a young musician who shows outstanding potential?
Guy Johnston (cellist), Jennifer Pike (vioinist) and Gwilym Simcock (jazz pianist) all began their musical training at Chets and learnt to perform at the highest level before achieving success in their respective careers. If you know a young musician who could follow in their footsteps, tell them about the Open Morning at Chetham's.
At Chetham’s, young musicians aged 8 - 18 receive a wealth of musical opportunities. They receive private tuition from some of the best music teachers in the world, get the chance to work in a range of ensembles (including Chamber Choir, Big Band, Jazz Band, String Quartets etc) and perform at some of the top music venues in the country, such as the Royal Festival Hall in London and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
Come and find out more at our Open Morning where you can sample the daily music-making that goes on at the nation’s leading specialist Music School.
