Day students at Chetham's are members of the appropriate Boarding House and as such must feel free to discuss any concerns or problems that they may have with their House Parent. Day students have access to the Houses in accordance with guidelines and the School Rules.
We are aware that day students at Chetham's are in the minority especially those in the Middle and Senior School. This can make it difficult for day students to feel integrated and they can feel excluded from the socialising that takes place in the evenings and weekends when day students are generally at home. We would like our day students to feel as integrated and as part of the school community as possible. For this reason we will always do our best to accommodate our day students overnight, when there is a need, if at all possible.
Parents of day students are encouraged to keep in contact with their son/daughter's House Parent and should feel free to discuss with them any concerns or problems they may have.
