In recent years, Chetham's Chamber Choir with its Chorus-Master, Martin Bussey, has performed nationwide and has participated in the National Holocaust Memorial at the Bridgewater Hall, appeared on BBC Songs of Praise, and recorded music for the Chandos label of the film music of Richard Addinsell and Vaughan Williams with the BBC Philharmonic.
In Autumn 2006, they were invited to join the Gabrieli Consort & Players in a performance of The Creation at the Barbican in London, conducted by Paul McCreesh. They subsequently took part in the award winning recording for Deutsche Grammophon and in July 2009 appeared with the Gabrieli Consort in a performance at the BBC Proms.
