Typical Working Week - Chorister

The normal Chorister weekly timetable is this:

Monday

  • 1.30 – 3.30 pm rehearsal

Tuesday

  • 1.30 - 2.30 pm rehearsal
  • 3.30 - 4.20 pm rehearsal
  • 4.20 - 4.35 pm tea
  • 4.40 - 5.20 pm rehearsal
  • 5.30 - 6.15 pm Evensong

Wednesday

  • 9.40 - 10.40 am rehearsal
  • 1.30 - 2.30 pm rehearsal
  • Meet Mr Stokes at 4.20 pm on yard
  • 4.20 - 4.35 pm tea
  • 4.40 - 5.20 pm rehearsal
  • 5.30 - 6.15 pm Evensong

Thursday

  • 11.00 - 12.00 pm rehearsal
  • 1.30 - 2.30 pm rehearsal
  • 4.30 - 4.40 pm tea at school
  • 4.55 - 5.20 pm rehearsal
  • 5.30 - 6.15 pm Evensong

Friday

  • Dumb Day

Saturday

  • 1.45 - 3.15 pm rehearsal
  • 3.30 - 4.15 pm Evensong

Sunday

  • 9.30 - 10.20 am rehearsal
  • 10.30 - 11.45 am Eucharist
 

One of the music staff, either the Organist, the Sub-Organist, an Organ Scholar, the Music Administrator or a member of the School staff will escort the Choristers to and from the Cathedral during the week. All Choristers should arrive individually at the Cathedral for weekend duties.  Boarding Choristers will be escorted to and from the Cathedral at all times.
