Congratulations to Andrew Reynish who won the Young Musician of Preston Guild 2012.
Andrew performed Elgar's Cello Concerto with the Lancashire Symphony Orchestra, a piece that he had been preparing for over five months, and his hard work certainly paid off as he wowed the crowd with his performance and took first prize in the Final of the competition.
18-year-old Andrew said, "Being a local lad, it's a real honour to be performing in the Finals of the Competition as it happens once every 20 years or so."
